Our commitment
ThreadScope is committed to making our service accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We strive to ensure that all users can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with our application effectively.
Standards
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
Testing
We use automated and manual testing to verify accessibility compliance:
- Automated audits with axe-core integrated into our end-to-end test suite, running against all public and protected pages.
- Playwright-based end-to-end tests that verify keyboard navigation and interaction patterns.
- Mobile viewport testing to ensure accessibility across screen sizes.
- Color contrast verification against WCAG 2.1 AA ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
Features
- Full keyboard navigation throughout the application.
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
- Semantic HTML for screen reader compatibility.
- Sufficient color contrast ratios on all text and interactive elements.
- Form labels and error messages associated with their inputs.
- Responsive design that works across devices and zoom levels.
Known limitations
While we work to ensure comprehensive accessibility, some areas may have limitations. We actively track and address accessibility issues as they are identified. If you encounter a barrier, please let us know so we can prioritize a fix.
