1. Overview
Venn Labs LLC ("we", "us", "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of ThreadScope to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. 512) ("DMCA"), we will respond to proper notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and are received by our designated agent.
ThreadScope displays publicly available Reddit content fetched through third-party public archive APIs. If you believe that content displayed in ThreadScope infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice as described below.
2. Reporting infringement
To report alleged copyright infringement, send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent at the contact information below. Your notice must include the information described in Section 3.

3. Notice requirements
A valid DMCA takedown notice must include the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that is to be removed, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (such as the URL where the content appears in ThreadScope).
- Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
4. Counter-notification
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent. Your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access was disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside the United States, the Western District of Missouri, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification or an agent of such person.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the party who submitted the original takedown notice. If the original party does not file a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity within 10 business days, we will restore the removed material.
5. Repeat infringers
In accordance with the DMCA, we will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
